Seed Hatchery grows business sprouts:

Anticipating a fertile foundation for growing local start-ups, organizers at Seed Hatchery are preparing for a sophomore season filled with entrepreneurial excellence. Thanks to the success of Seed Hatchery's inaugural cohort, which launched earlier this year, another batch of six nascent companies will soon be selected to participate in the hands-on training program. "We're hoping for more success than our first outing because that's what will keep the program alive. We've always got to strive to keep improving and be better," said Eric Mathews, co-founder of Mercury Technology Labs and president of LaunchMemphis.
