Second Mississippi River Steamboat to Dock in Memphis:

The Memphis riverfront will have two queens next summer. A second Mississippi River steamboat, this one still under construction, will be stopping in Memphis next year on overnight river cruises. American Cruise Lines Inc. launched the Queen of the Mississippi at the Cheasapeake Shipbuilding yard in Salisbury, MD. The company announced the sternwheeler will make a one-way New Orleans-to-Memphis trip starting Aug. 11, 2012, in its inaugural 7-day cruise. To continue reading, click here.
