New apartments to rise Downtown:

A new apartment complex is springing up in an underdeveloped part of Downtown that could continue the path of development started before the recession. Elmington Capital Group, operating as TOV Virginia LP, is developing Crescent Bluff Apartments, a 72-unit project at the northeast corner of Virginia and Florida near Crump Boulevard. The Nashville-based commercial real estate investment and development firm plans to open the $10.5 million project, which includes construction and land acquisition, by October.  To continue reading, click here (shortened content/subscriber article).
