Memphis haven for youth baseball: Memphis is becoming a major player in the growth of the Major Youth Baseball Alliance LLC and its New Era National Youth Baseball Championships, which were held for the fourth year at First Tennessee Fields in Cordova. The event also puts Memphis’ tourist attractions on display through partnerships and sponsorships with First Tennessee Bank, the Memphis Convention & Visitors Bureau, and others.
