LeBonheur begins demolition of old hospital marking final phase of new construction:
LeBonheur Children’s Hospital began one of the last phases of a multi-year expansion and renovation with the demolition of nearly half its old hospital building. The demolition is making way for a new driveway and front yard for the 225-bed, 12-story hospital that opened in 2010 as part of a $340 million expansion project. LeBonheur also renovated the remaining part of the original hospital, creating more than 270,000 square feet for research and education. To continue reading, click here and also here.
