Dogs, art go hand in paw at new Downtown Memphis park

There are dog parks, and there are art parks. And then there are dog art parks, where dogs run free while owners mingle and appreciate art. The Barking Lot is coming to Downtown on Dec. 10.  Downtown Memphis Commission vice president of marketing Leslie Gower said, "There's going to be a place where we'll have food trucks and a place for people to eat, and then the dog park. We have so many people with dogs Downtown and nowhere for people to let them off leash."  To continue reading, click here.
