Delta company to move to Memphis:

SentryNet will move its head office to Memphis from Mississippi by next April, creating about 60 jobs in the city. Officials at the security firm confirmed they will shut down operations in the Delta city of Greenville, where the company now employs 70. "We're excited about moving the headquarters to Memphis because of the opportunities for growth that it will offer," said David Avritt, the firm's founder and president. "It's fantastic news for Memphis because these workers will be living here, buying houses or renting here and spending their money here," said Susan Hadley Maynor, managing director of economic development for the Greater Memphis Chamber.
