Dallas developer prepares site near arena on Linden for possible 'select service' hotel

The revitalizing success of Beale Street and FedExForum are radiating into an economically distressed area, where a demolition crew is making room for a possible hotel at the lot on the southwest corner of Thomas and Linden.  Developer Sanjay Naik said, “Our talks with the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau, the economic development guys, the plans being put in place or expected or forecast for that area, the expansion of Beale Street possibly.”  To continue reading, click here.
