Bioworks Files $15M Permit for Specialized Laboratory:

Memphis Bioworks Foundation is planning to build Memphis Specialized Laboratory at 45 S. Dudley St., according to a $15.2 million permit application filed in September with the city-county Office of Construction Code Enforcement. The project was confirmed by Brandon Wellford, MBF’s chief financial officer and director of real estate. The $15.2 million price tag on the permit will cover all construction costs, he said. The 26,000-sq.ft. laboratory will be a commercialization facility for getting products approved by the FDA. To continue reading, see the attached pdf file.
