Bike racks dedicated Downtown:

At the Memphis Farmers Market, Mayor A C Wharton Jr., the Division of Park Services, the Downtown Neighborhood Association and the Urban Art Commission officiated at the formal dedication of the Downtown bike racks. In 2002 the Downtown Neighborhood Association was seeking an annual project. With several avid bikers on the association's board, and many more in the group's membership, then-DNA president Paula Casey made it her mission to see that biking to a Downtown destination a bit easier with the aid of artistic bike racks.
