Academy Org. Presents $10K Grant to Indie Memphis:

Academy Org. Presents $10K Grant to Indie Memphis: Indie Memphis, which held the most successful film festival in its history earlier this month, has been awarded a $10,000 grant by the Academy Foundation of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the organization that holds the Academy Awards. It was the second grant the Oscar organization’s educational and cultural committee has given to Indie Memphis after awarding a similar grant in 2009 for Indie Memphis’ 2010 festival.
