Regional Logistics Council

The mission of the Regional Logistics Council is to serve as an alliance with private companies in the logistics industry, and serving the logistics industry, including transportation companies, warehousing, supply chain management professionals, freight forwarders, and real estate companies in addition to a variety of public sector organizations including MPO, Departments of Transportation, etc.

The goal of the Regional Logistics Council is to enhance the logistics Industry and increase jobs, wages, and capital investment in the Memphis Region by addressing infrastructure, workforce development, marketing, and strategic planning.

Regional Logistics Council meetings are held quarterly and feature guest speakers and reports on current committee projects.

  • Provided Updated Regional Labor Study
  • Launched the Greater Memphis Alliance for a Competitive Workforce (GMACW) which will provide 3,000 industrial workers per year for manufacturing and logistics
