MemphisFirst Business Continuity Council
The Chamber > Councils > MemphisFirst Business Continuity
Mission & Purpose
The mission of the MemphisFirst Business Continuity Council is to enhance the preparedness of the greater Memphis community for responding to large scale disruptive events.
MemphisFirst is a public / private partnership dedicated to the preparation, protection and recovery of the Memphis metropolitan region, its citizens, businesses and government in areas of emergency management.
We will work cooperatively with community and business leaders, public agency representatives, private organizations, academic representatives and the public at large to enhance the community’s readiness for responding to such events. This will be accomplished by reducing communications barriers, sharing resources, developing mutual aid agreements, conducting joint training and preparedness drills, and enhancing public awareness of risks and mitigation methods.
Get involved with the MemphisFirst Business Continuity Council today! For more information, contact Dexter Muller, Senior Vice President, Community Development at 901.543.3543 or dmuller@memphischamber.com.
