Release date: 8/8/2016

Memphis, Tenn. – The Greater Memphis Chamber announces the exceptional young professionals to be featured in the Memphis Crossroads Magazine as the 2016 Young Memphians.

“Every year we select young professionals from our member companies who excel in their careers and display a passion for Memphis, and every year it becomes more difficult to narrow down the field,” said Phil Trenary, President and CEO of the Greater Memphis Chamber. “These Young Memphians deserve recognition for the time and talent they have invested in our city, and we are excited to introduce you to these entrepreneurs, innovators, community servants, creatives and business professionals.”
The Memphis Crossroads Young Memphis issue is now in its fifth year, receiving local and national awards such as the MarCom Gold Award and a PRSA Vox Gold Award. It was specifically created to highlight Memphis’ future business and community leaders and to show off how our young professionals are making a huge impact on our city.
To qualify for the award, the recipients must be a Chamber member and under 40. Nominations were received through the Chamber’s website, social media outlets and email.
Each Young Memphian will have a full-page profile in the next issue of Memphis Crossroads Magazine, which will be distributed to our member companies by mail and digitally through our Chamber’s weekly eNewsletter this month. The digital magazine will also be available on the Chamber’s website and social media channels. To find out more and view past issues, visit
