Dungy will deliver remarks and entertain questions on Tuesday, November 10 at a lunch to be held at Peabody Memphis from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m.

“We are fortunate to have a man like Coach Dungy share his thoughts with the Memphis community,” said John Moore, President and CEO, Greater Memphis Chamber.  “Whether it is character, leadership or devotion, Coach Dungy is a man who leads by example. We are honored to host him.”

Dungy led the Indianapolis Colts to Super Bowl victory on February 4, 2007, a first for an African American coach. Dungy had taken eight of his previous ten teams to the playoffs. With this victory, he joined Mike Ditka and Tom Flores as the only men to win the Super Bowl as both players and head coaches.

Dungy has been involved in a variety of charitable organizations, most notably, he helped launch the fatherhood program, All Pro Dad, that arranged for his visit to Memphis.  Now in its twelfth year, All Pro Dad reaches men around the globe with a wide variety of hands on resources and programs designed to strengthen families.

"All Pro Dad is an innovative program designed to equip men with the moral and educational tools necessary to make them better fathers and role models, and to build character in their children and communities," said Tony Dungy.

Dungy is also active with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Athletes in Action, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys & Girls Clubs, and Prison Crusade Ministry. He also works with Basket of Hope, the Black Coaches Association National Convention, Indiana Black Expo, and the American Diabetes Association.
