M4 Trivia Challenge

You probably know that Elvis loved peanut butter and banana sandwiches or that Dewey Phillips (a.k.a. Daddy-O-Dewey) was the first DJ in America to play both black and white music on the radio. But just how deep does your Memphis music knowledge flow?

With the most musicians per capita, Memphis means music every day of the year, but in October we like to show our local artists a little more love than usual. The Memphis Means Music Foundation has dedicated the entire month to recognizing the local music scene. That’s why we’re hosting a Memphis Music Trivia Challenge from October 14 through 18.

The rules are simple. Each day at noon, we’ll post one quiz question to our Facebook page. The first person to respond with the correct answer will win one of our fabulous prizes.

If you know your stuff, you could be going home with a CD, record, T-shirt or gift card from one of our local musicians or music shops.

Look for other ways to show your Memphis music appreciation this month by visiting the Memphis Means Music Foundation’s calendar here.

Special thanks to Chamber member Signal Flow PR for helping us create trivia questions.

Wishing you the best of luck,
Jenny C. Fish
