Interview with Memphis Musician Chris Milam

For October, the Chamber is helping the Memphis Music Foundation celebrate Memphis Means Music Month!  The Chamber's interns Akira Clay and Samantha Garcia have interviewed Memphis musicians and even asked the Chamber staff about their favorite Memphis tunes.  In this video, they talk to Chris Milam, who's been compared to Paul Simon.  Find out who his Memphis musical influences are. Enjoy!

Chris Milam mentioned some fantastic Memphis musicians like Star and Micey, Jeremy Stanfield and Mark Edgar Stuart - all with their own unique sound. Just this week, Iddo Patt of Indie Memphis guest blogged about the innovative Memphis style - a method "a little out of the mainstream." What Memphis musicians do you feel represent that innovative Memphis style?
