A Homerun for the Memphis Economy

AutoZone Park. Photo by Amanda Edmundson.

The sound of a bat connecting with a baseball….

Listening to an organ play play the charge…

The smell of a juicy hotdog….

The sound of cheers when someone rounds home plate….

Watching the Memphis Redbirds in AutoZone Park is the perfect way to experience America’s favorite sport.

The Memphis Redbirds and AutoZone Park are not only great for family or business entertainment, but they have an economic impact on our city. AutoZone Park, which is considered one of the best minor league baseball parks in the country, has helped make downtown Memphis a destination for Memphians and tourists. Almost 1 million people entered the gates at AutoZone Park last year.

Not only are the Memphis Redbirds and AutoZone Park a tourist attraction, but they’re a young talent and business relocation attractor as well. When deciding what cities to relocate to, sporting venues and a variety of entertainment are high on the list.

The Memphis Redbirds have home games all week with more games concluding with fireworks. What better way to connect with family and friends?
