A Tribute to Blues Hall of Fame Artist Otis Clay

R&B and soul legend Otis Clay passed away on Friday, January 8 at the age of 73. The Blues Hall of Fame inductee called Memphis his "second home" during the years he was recording at Memphis-based Hi Records. Read his full obituary from the Commercial Appeal here.

Below Otis performs "Trying to Live My Life Without You" with Uriah Mitchell at our 2014 Annual Chairman's Luncheon. The rhythm and blues artist will be greatly missed.

Megasite Brings Mega-Opportunity to West Tennessee

A water tower of its own. Installation of 14 miles of sewer lines. Rerouting of a state highway. No wonder the Memphis Regional Megasite is called, well, a megasite. It is six square miles of ambition to bring auto manufacturers and suppliers to the region and provide the population with thousands of good jobs.
