Vote for the Class of 2016 Young Memphians

While cities around the nation are competing for young talent, Memphis is making a name for itself as a destination for young professionals. Our President & CEO Phil Trenary often borrows (and modifies) a phrase from Memphis musician Drew Holcomb, "You go to ____ (fill in the blank with the usual cities: Nashville, Austin, New York City) to get something. You go to Memphis to give something back." Our young professionals council, SoundCheck, with over 200 members and counting, is filled with YPs eager to play a part in the economic growth of Memphis.

And if that's not enough, the proof is in the numbers:
So once again we're looking to recognize ten emerging young professionals from Greater Memphis Chamber businesses who are taking ownership of this city, advancing in their career and want to see prosperity for all in Memphis. And we want YOU to nominate them.

The two requirements for all Young Memphians are:
1. They must work for a Chamber member company. You can view the membership directory here.
2. They must be under 40 years old.

The Young Memphians will be featured on the cover of our Memphis Crossroads digital magazine's summer issues, as well as a full-page spotlight inside. Take a look at 2015's Young Memphian issue here.

To nominate a Young Memphian, all you have to do is complete the form below. Please email me at if you have any questions or would like to advertise in this popular issue. The deadline is end of business day Friday, May 6th, so get your nominations in today!

Nominations are closed. Thank you for your participation!
