Memphis BioWorks Environmental Job Training

Memphis Bioworks is offering free environmental job training and placement to eligible unemployed or underemployed residents in 38103, 38107, and 38108.

Training Offered Includes:
  • Conservation& Energy Awareness
  • Recycling Technologies Awareness
  • Hazardous Materials Transportation Certification
  • Forklift Operations Certification
  • Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER)Certification
  • Solid Waste Management/Clean-up Awareness
  • Lead, Asbestos & Mold Remediation

Memphis Bioworks Foundation will conduct weekly Information Sessions each Wednesday through May 30, 2012, from 10am – Noon at the Hollywood Community Center (1560 N. Hollywood) to share information about signing up for the program. Training applications are available at each session. Classes will be starting soon.
