Networking Opportunities
The Greater Memphis Chamber offers many opportunities for networking throughout the year. These events range in focus, including monthly membership meetings, industry-focused meetings, athletic events, etc. Please see the following breakdown for programming descriptions. This luncheon series features high-profile speakers who impact the Memphis and Tennessee business community. More than 250 top business executives will be invited to this program. The largest business event of the year, more than 1,000 Memphis business and community leaders attend this event each year. This event includes special presentations that range from the University of Memphis coaching teams to local artists and musicians to nationally recognized celebrities from the area. The Chairman of the Board of Directors also provides an overview of accomplishments for the year and highlights the vision for the next year.
Breakfast Forum
This is the Chamber’s regular monthly membership / networking event with a focus on economic development. At each Breakfast Forum, there are 200 to 300 people who attend each Breakfast Forum, and new members are acknowledged by the emcee during the event.
Chamber Lunch & Learns
The Chamber Lunch & Learn program features presentations from local business leaders who address important issues related to small business success. These programs also provide time for networking with other business executives and a complimentary lunch.
You eat lunch every day, so why not make lunch work for you? Join the Chamber's Connect For Lunch program to meet area professionals in local restaurants for engaging lunch-time networking - on your schedule.
The Annual Chamber Golf Tournament is played on Memphis’ finest golf course, Spring Creek Ranch. Benefits include lunch, cart and green fees, player bag, complimentary beverages on the course and an awards reception following the tournament. The number of participating teams is limited to 28.
In The Mix
These are a great way to meet and connect with fellow members and non-members alike. There are approximately 200 to 300 people in attendance at each one of these networking mixers.
The International Business Council brings together businesses interested in facilitating the growth of international trade and foreign direct investment in Memphis; educating Memphis businesses in conducting business on an international basis; driving economic development through interaction with foreign organizations; and accomplishing this with the help of Memphians with a keen understanding of international business. There are two evening receptions and an educational series presented by the International Business Council each year.
The Greater Memphis Chamber holds an annual membership drive that is supported by our membership. This is a great way to work on a project with other Chamber members, strengthen your existing networks and create new ones.
This is an annual race through downtown Memphis that is unlike any other race in the city. This is a great way to enjoy a Saturday morning in the city. Move It Memphis is also an excellent opportunity to increase your business exposure and encourage your employees to get healthy by participating in the Corporate Challenge.
Redbirds Club Suite
The Memphis Chamber Redbirds Club Suite can be leased by Chamber members and non-members, and is a great way to entertain clients and reward employees.
This quarterly breakfast series highlights key business leaders from the logistics industry. More than 150 business professionals from the logistics industry vertical attend these programs. To view details and presentations from previous meetings, click here.
The Small Business Council programming is focused on the needs of companies with 100 or fewer employees in the Memphis area. Programming includes educational breakfast meetings, after-hours networking receptions and specialized seminars.
