The International Business Council held its 2009 Fall meeting on November 13, 2009, in Memphis, Tennessee. The theme of the event was "Memphis: The Crossroads of NAFTA."

Luncheon
The morning workshop was followed by an International Business Council Luncheon featuring keynote speaker Canadian Consul General Stephen Brereton as he presented "NAFTA: The Gateway to Trade." Entertainment for the luncheon was provided by singing groups from John P. Freeman Optional School and Kingsbury Middle School who performed the national anthems from all three NAFTA partner countries, Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The International Business Council also presented this year's 2009 Global Business Awards to both Luminetx and Buckman.
