Conwood Co LLC has been located here in Memphis since 1912. In 2009, Conwood invested $133 million to expand their manufacturing operations which includes purchasing a $19.3 million facility. Conwood now employs over 294 people and will hire an additional 25 employees once the facility opens in 2012. Conwood has taken full advantage of the access to skilled labor.
